Sustainability

How we plan, build and operate projects with the land, water and communities around them.

  1. Before we build

    Studies and consultation

Every project starts with an environmental and social impact assessment and a year of baseline studies of flora, fauna and water. We meet nearby communities before we file for permits and take part in the consultation processes required by national law and ILO Convention 169 where indigenous peoples may be affected.

  2. During construction

    Local jobs and safe sites

We ask our EPC contractors to hire and train workers from nearby towns first, and we track it every month. Traffic, dust and noise plans are agreed with local authorities before work begins.

  3. In operation

    Water, land and neighbors

Our desert plants clean modules without water. We monitor birds and bats at wind sites, restore native vegetation along access roads and fund community projects agreed with local leaders, mostly in water access, schools and health posts.

Safety

Safety without exception is one of our values, and it applies to contractors as much as to our own staff. Any person on our sites can stop work they consider unsafe, and every serious incident is reviewed by the executive committee.

Reporting

We will publish our first sustainability report, prepared with reference to the GRI Standards, in the first half of 2027. It will cover 2026 data for all four countries.
